Check catalogue

This is the complete list of the 418 checks an audit runs against a SQL Server instance, across 25 categories. For each one: its identifier, what it verifies and its severity. All of them are read-only.

The collector writes nothing to your servers: it runs read queries and exports a CSV. The permission-granting scripts are published, and the full list of queries can be exported before any connection is made.

How a category affects the score

The overall score out of 100 is the weighted average of the scored categories. A category with weight 0 is informational: it appears in the report but does not enter the score. A category where no check could be evaluated is excluded from the calculation and its weight redistributed — never counted as 100 by default.
